 We encourage all women who are interested in working and living among a community of caring individuals to join the Presbyterian Women (PW) of Unity Church. The women of Unity may become members of one of three circles which meet monthly (September ~ June).
One advantage of belonging to a circle is studying the Bible with other women to grow and nurture our faith. Another dimension of our giving and nurturing is the fellowship of the Least Coin, Birthday Offering, Thank Offering and pledge to our local PW.
We support our community by giving to 14th and Chestnut Community Projects/ Grumbling Tummies, Red Cross Quilt Project and Rockville Women's Prison Ministries. Nationally we belong to and support the endeavors of Church Women United.
To further broaden and share our Christian Fellowship and deepen our knowledge of God's work in the world, PW has regulary scheduled events such as Spring and Fall Gatherings sponsored by Presbytery, a summer dinner to which we invite friends, and of course, the Yuletide celebration.  | |
